Mark Galer has a distinguished photographic career and has ridden the wave of the digital imaging revolution since its inception. He has always aligned himself with ground breaking ‘state-of-the art’ imaging technologies to explore new photographic possibilities. Mark is a seasoned professional photographer, educator, and author. Mark served as a Senior Lecturer of photography on the highly prestigious BA Photography Program at RMIT University in Melbourne for 14 years and was the Program Director during this time. He has written 30 photography books for the International publisher ‘Focal Press’ and over 160 magazine articles. Mark is a former Adobe Ambassador for Australia and New Zealand (14 years service) and has been a Sony Digital Imaging Ambassador for Australia for over eight years while embracing the Mirrorless revolution.
